Port Phillip Nature Watch
PORT PHILLIP NATURE WATCH
The purpose of this project is to determine the range of wildlife species that inhabit the City of Port Phillip. An interesting bird or animal may be living in or visiting your backyard, or elsewhere within the municipality such as in our parks and reserves, foreshore and streets.

We want to hear about what you see. Everyone in the local community is welcome to participate by observing and reporting their sightings of wildlife to Earthcare. To report a sighting, please read details on Port Phillip Nature Watch page.

Want to learn more about the birds that call the City of Port Philip home?
If so, keep the morning of Sunday 15th January 2012 free!!!
Earthcare St Kilda members and their families are invited on a leisurely Sunday moring guided walk through Westgate Park, Port Melbourne.
With Earth Series Sculptures made from natural materials providing an interesting contrast to the landscape character of the park, Westgate Park is located along the eastern banks of the Yarra River under the Westgate Bridge, and offers spectacular views to the mouth of the Yarra and the city skyline.
The winding trails around the lakes and along the river are popular with cyclists, joggers and walkers.
Led by local bird expert, Andrew McCutcheon, our guided walk will provide you with the opportunity to view and discover more about the diverse range of birds that live in and migrate through the City of Port Philip.
Commencing at 10.00 am and followed by a light picnic style lunch, details of the meeting spot for this activity will be provided to attendees in early January.
