Walk on the Wild Side - Elwood

A Twilight Walk to Discover our Amazing Foreshore

Join Neil Blake, a former St Kilda foreshore ranger and founding member of Earthcare St Kilda, on a 1.5 hour twilight walk of discovery along the Elwood foreshore.

While enjoying our beautiful coastline, you will learn about:

  • our local Aboriginal culture,
  • the natural history of the Bay,
  • how urbanisation changed our foreshore; and
  • the crucial role of Earthcare in restoring local natural heritage.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in a seashell survey and to find out about our 'smaller' marine inhabitants and some of the significant plant species that line our foreshore.
