Other Birds

Birds of the flying variety are also common along the St Kilda foreshore.

You will often see cormorants swimming around the sea grass beds, terns sitting on the pier or silver gulls breeding on the breakwater.  Occasionally kelp gulls and pacific gulls (both adults and juvenilles) can be seen in the area.
